The Problem
It’s a really nice problem to have, but Rock & Ruddle’s brushes are so incredibly well made and well loved by their customers, that they can go years and years without needing a replacement. As with all businesses and sectors: customer acquisition costs always seem to be on the rise – and the endless battle for clicks on Google and Meta ads is a never-ending struggle. With a relatively small mailing list, we needed to think of some out-of-the-box strategies to help Rock & Ruddle use email to recruit new customers and re-engage the ones they have!
The Solution
Our plan was multifaceted with Rock & Ruddle. We set up some fantastic automated flows to welcome and warm up new subscribers into making their first purchase, as well as working on some bespoke flows to help encourage customers to come back and purchase again.
We then completely overhauled the templates for their broadcast campaigns, creating a newer and fresher design really helping to showcase the product and being beautifully responsive on mobile. The email strategy was next, and we used this opporutnity to consider and set up key segments for Rock & Ruddle, and as a result send really targeted messages based on previous purchase history.
